Marcus Herennius Faustus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marcus Herennius Faustus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Inscriptions show that Faustus was probably Legatus legionis of Legio XIII Gemina around 114 ; the Legion was stationed in Apulum after the Dacian Wars , where the inscriptions were also found. Through military diplomas , e.g. Some are dated April 5, 121, it is documented that Faustus 121 was together with Quintus Pomponius Rufus Marcellus suffect consul ; the two held their office from March to April.
