The Mare d'Oursi is a lake in northern Burkina Faso , on the northern bank of which the town of Oursi is located. It is fed by a few small tributaries that only carry water in the rainy season and has no outflow. As an important station for migratory birds, the Mare d'Oursi is a Ramsar reserve. It is also an important water reservoir for humans and livestock in the region.
