not permanent lake |
The Mare de Tizi (also Lac Tizi, or Tisi) is a non-permanent lake in the prefecture of Vakaga in the north of the Central African Republic . It forms the border with Chad , about one kilometer west of the border triangle with Sudan . The lake is 6 km long and 0.5 km wide. It drains into the Shari via a branch of the Bahr Aouk .
Since the course of the Aouk is unclear in this area, the lake was chosen as the boundary, which is a good natural obstacle.
