Maren Fischer-Epe

Maren Fischer-Epe (* 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German psychologist , business consultant and specialist book author. Her books on coaching and self- coaching are standard works in the education and training of consultants, trainers and managers.

Career

After studying with state exams in German language and literature, education, sports in 1978 and a diploma in psychology at the University of Hamburg in 1978, she was initially a systemic family therapist for several years at the Reinbek advisory center as well as a teaching trainer and teaching supervisor at the Fritz Perls Institute for Integrative Therapy and Creativity Promotion. Since 1988 she has been working as an expert for learning and change processes in personnel and organizational development, since 1998 with an interdisciplinary team (Fischer-Epe Team), which is primarily dedicated to the topics of consulting, training and coaching for companies.

Based on her teaching activities at the Fritz Perls Institute and a collaboration with Friedemann Schulz von Thun , she designs training programs for coaching, leadership and dialogue skills. Together with her husband Claus Epe, she develops simple models and methods for training managers.
