Maren Haugli (born March 3, 1985 in Jevnaker ) is a Norwegian speed skater . The seven-time Norwegian champion is an all-rounder who specializes in long distances.

Maren Haugli made her debut at the World Cup in Hamar in November 2003 . Since the 2005/06 season she has belonged to the extended world elite and achieved third place in the World Cup race in Heerenveen in March 2006, her best position in a World Cup race to date. At the all-around world championships of the year she reached a good fifth place.

Haugli starts for the Jevnaker IF club and was trained by the US star coach Peter Mueller . After years of tensions between Haugli and Mueller, Maren Haugli and her brother Sverre Haugli left the training group. In November 2009, a complaint from Maren Haugli for sexist remarks at the Norwegian Association led to the dismissal of Peter Mueller .

She is the granddaughter of Sverre Ingolf Haugli . Haugli is an athlete ambassador for the development aid organization Right to Play .
