Marga Groove-Markovic

Marga Groove-Markovic (born September 27, 1920 in Neuss ; † December 4, 2002 ) was an artist from Neuss. She learned from Zoltan Székessy , among others . She created sculptures, paintings, pictures behind glass, drawings, watercolors and collages. Her paintings can be found in Neuss, Düsseldorf, Krefeld, Düren, Duisburg, Bottrop and in the Aachen area. She was married to the painter and restorer Milan Marcovic. In 1950 she was awarded the Cornelius Prize of the city of Düsseldorf.
