Margaret Bell (athlete)
Margaret Bell ( Margaret Mary Bell; born January 26, 1917 in Vancouver , † May 10, 1996 ) was a former Canadian high jumper .
In 1934 she won bronze at the British Empire Games in London and silver at the Women's World Games .
She finished eighth at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin and fourth at the British Empire Games in Sydney .
In 1936 she became Canadian champion. In the same year she set her personal best of 1.60 m on July 1 in Vancouver .
