She appeared under her real name as an actress and dancer in three The Little Rascals films before she was discovered by Eddie Cantor and played the role of his daughter in the film If You Knew Susie . Cantor was of the opinion that Lynch needed a more suitable name for show business, which is why she called herself Margaret Kerry from then on .

Her first film role was Kerry in 1935 in the short film Teacher's Beau . In 1938 she played an uncredited role in Tom's Adventures . She also appears occasionally at film festivals and gives interviews about her work with Disney. In 2016, Kerry published her autobiography Tinker Bell Talks: Tales of a Pixie Dusted Life .
