Margaret Mary Larkin

Margaret Mary Larkin is an American Arabist .

Life

She earned a BA in 1976 from New York University (French), an MA 1980 New York University (Languages ​​and Literatures of the Middle East), the MPhil 1984 from Columbia University (Languages ​​and Cultures of the Middle East) and a Ph.D. 1989 at Columbia University (Languages ​​and Cultures of the Middle East). She teaches Arabic literature at the University of California, Berkeley (1997–2007: ssociate professor, since 2007 professor ).
