Margaret Mary Larkin
Margaret Mary Larkin is an American Arabist .
Life
She earned a BA in 1976 from New York University (French), an MA 1980 New York University (Languages and Literatures of the Middle East), the MPhil 1984 from Columbia University (Languages and Cultures of the Middle East) and a Ph.D. 1989 at Columbia University (Languages and Cultures of the Middle East). She teaches Arabic literature at the University of California, Berkeley (1997–2007: ssociate professor, since 2007 professor ).
