Margarete Kornig
Margarete Körnig , married Margarete Bauer ( September 21, 1853 in Leipzig - around 1913 in Dresden ) was a German theater actress .
Life
The artist Emil Bauer was married to the former imperial Russian court actress, who at the time at the Dresden Residenztheater mastered the whole subject of the first soubrettes and lively lovers and was very popular. Roles like "Lucinde from the theater", "Cäcilie" in "Montjoye", "Emma" in "Mein Leopold" are among her recognized achievements. Since the operetta and the Austrian and Bavarian folk plays gained the upper hand, the artist had left the association of this theater in order to appear only as a guest on excellent theaters.
