The so-called Margarethenkloster with the St. Margarethen Chapel in Cologne was a hospital for "outdated church servants" connected to the cathedral monastery. It was founded in the 7th century by Bishop Kunibert . The monastery existed until secularization in the French era . Nothing remains of the buildings. The street name Margarethenkloster reminds of this.
