Margit Hähner
Margit Hähner (born November 17, 1960 in Leverkusen ) is a German writer.
Hähner studied German and Catholic theology at the University of Cologne and worked for many years on a voluntary and full-time basis in the Catholic Young Community (KJG). At the beginning of the 1990s she began publishing poetry and prose .
She was a member of the Association of German Writers (VS) in the ver.di regional association of North Rhine-Westphalia . In 2002 she was elected to the board and from 2006 until her resignation at the regional assembly on April 25, 2009, she was the regional chairman of the association. From 2004 she was spokeswoman for the Cologne district ; on December 31, 2009 she resigned with the entire district executive committee and at the same time declared her resignation from the service union.
Margit Hähner is a juror for the German Record Critics' Prize and a member of the PEN Center Germany . She lives in Cologne .
