history
Until the church was built, the catholic services were celebrated in the catholic school opposite today's church. The Wroclaw architect Ludwig Schneider (1854–1943) was commissioned with the design and construction management . The construction work was carried out by Max Steiner from Schmiedeberg .
The peasant baroque style church underwent major changes after 1945 when the German congregation was expelled and the church was taken over by the new Polish Catholic congregation. The church was enlarged and the overall picture changed significantly.
