Maria Feldhuss

Maria Feldhuss (born October 4, 1870 in Beuthen , † after 1922) was a German politician ( center ).

Life

Maria Feldhuß attended the secondary girls' school and later worked as a municipal orphan and district nurse in Gleiwitz . She also headed the welfare agency for the city and district of Gleiwitz. In addition to her professional activity, she was involved in the Catholic women's movement and was chairman of the Gleiwitz branch of the Catholic German Women's Association (KDFB). In addition, she was active in other social and charitable associations, including as chairwoman of the association of working women and girls.

Feldhuss joined the Center Party and was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly from 1919 to 1921 . She was then elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament. In the by-election in Upper Silesia, however, she was not confirmed, whereupon she left parliament on November 19, 1922.
