Maria Visitation is a Catholic parish church in Munich .

The church was built from 1933 to 1934 in the Romanizing style by Oswald Bieber and government architect Wilhelm Hollweck in Westendstrasse in Munich's Westend . The new building was necessary due to the strong growth of the mother parish of St. Rupert . The foundation stone was laid on October 1, 1933, and the church was consecrated by Cardinal Faulhaber on October 28, 1934 . The eponymous Visitation of Mary to Elisabeth is shown on the relief above the portal of the church . Likewise, the princes of the apostles Peter and Paul with their attributes key, tiara and sword carved in stone stand on the facade. The wall paintings in the apse and the altars are by Walter Bertram .

In the 1950s, a day-care center with staff apartments was also built.
