Maria J. Pfannholz
Pia Mayer-Gampe , pseudonyms Maria Johanna Pfannholz and Maria J. Pfannholz (* 1955 in Munich ) is a German writer of science fiction and crime novels .
Life
Pfannholz was born in Munich as the daughter of the author Carl Amery . After studying forestry, she became a writer. She first published non-fiction and science fiction. In 1989, her novel Den Überlebenden was awarded the German Science Fiction Prize . In 1991 she received the sponsorship award from the European Science Fiction Society
She lived in Bhutan for a few years . After her return to Germany she published detective novels. Today she lives with her family in Upper Bavaria.
