Maria Rørbye Rønn (born January 25, 1964 ) is a Danish lawyer and director general of Danmarks Radio (DR).

Rønn holds a law degree from the University of Copenhagen . She previously worked in the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Culture before joining the DR in 1995. Here she started in the copyright department and became head of DR Law in 2001. In 2007, her mandate was expanded to include the title of Head of DR Law, Politics and Strategy. When Kenneth Plummer left DR on October 28, 2010, she became Executive Director General and on February 6, 2011 the Board of Directors elected her as the new Director General.

Morten Hesseldahl, Lisbeth Knudsen and Ulrik Haagerup were other candidates for the post, but Rønn won the race by consensus of the board.

Maria Rørbye Rønn is married and has two children.
