Maria Rosaria Omaggio (born January 11, 1954 in Rome ) is an Italian actress and author .

Life

Omaggio made his debut in 1973 on the TV show Canzonissima and in 1976 in the film Die Viper by director Umberto Lenzi . This production belongs to the genre of the Poliziottesco , which is about mafia, police and gangsters.

In the following years she worked in similar film productions as well as in plays and television shows. Her work includes around 40 productions for film and television. In the film Wałęsa. She embodied the man of hope in 2013, the Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci . For this she was honored with the Pasinetti Award at the Venice International Film Festival 2013 .

The Italian works as a “goodwill ambassador” for the United Nations Children's Fund ( UNICEF ).
