Mariah McKimbrough

Mariah McKimbrough is an artist and lecturer in musical and musical theater . She is co-founder of the first vocational school for musicals, the ACT-Center College in Nuremberg, and was its director until August 2015.

Life

In addition to her training as a qualified musical actress, McKimbroug has completed a commercial and graphic training. She is approved for training according to the IHK .

In 2005 she took part as a finalist in the National Singing Competition in Berlin and has since been a full member of the National Singing Competition in Berlin eV and the Federal Association of German Singing Pedagogues (BDG) to promote young talent. She works in concerts and solo programs as artistic director as well as director , author, presenter, speaker and choreographer , lecturer and coach.

As head of the ACTelier theater, she was actively involved in the program and development of the theater until 2015. As a coach and lecturer, she continues to prepare schoolchildren and students for their entrance and / or private final exams. In addition, she works with fellow artists on their show programs and role preparation. McKimbrough works with young people with a migration background in sponsored theater projects (e.g. City of Nuremberg, Vienna, Arbeutrerwohlfahrt).
