Mariana Constantin
Mariana Constantin (born August 3, 1960 in Ploieşti ) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast .
She started gymnastics at the age of five. In 1976 Constantin took part in the Olympic Games . In Montreal she won the silver medal with the Romanian team with Nadia Comăneci , Georgeta Gabor , Anca Grigoraș and Gabriela Trușcă . In addition, she reached eleventh place in the individual all-around competition. In the same year she was equal on points with the Soviet gymnast Jelena Dawydowa third in the individual all-around at the Chunichi Cup .
