Gabriela Truşcă
Gabriela Truşcă , after marriage to Gabriela Robu , (born August 15, 1957 in Bacău ) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast .
She started doing gymnastics at the age of seven. In 1976 she took part in the Olympic Games . In Montreal Truşcă won the silver medal with the Romanian team with Nadia Comăneci , Mariana Constantin , Georgeta Gabor , Anca Grigoraş and Teodora Ungureanu . She also competed in the individual all-around, on the floor, on the balance beam, on the uneven bars and in the jump, where she did not make it into the final. At the Universiade 1977 Truşcă won silver both with the team and on the uneven bars.
After her competitive sports career, Truşcă was active as a trainer at CSȘ Buzău and supervised a. a. Gabriela Drăgoi , European champion and bronze medalist at the 2008 Olympic Games. She was also an international referee.
