Marianne Hagenhofer

Marianne Hagenhofer (born November 26, 1948 in Braunau am Inn ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and a member of the National Council .

education and profession

Marianne Hagenhofer attended an office school after completing compulsory school. She was employed in the private sector from 1965 to 1979 and has worked for the Braunau am Inn labor market since 1979. In 1982 she passed the civil service promotion test and was appointed to the government council in 2007.

politics

Hagenhofer was elected local party chairman of SPÖ Mining in 1986 and has been a member of Mining's municipal council since 1988. In 1983 she was elected deputy district women chairwoman of the SPÖ Braunau am Inn and has been the party leader of the SPÖ district organization since 1994. Hagenhofer is a member of the state party presidium, a member of the state party executive committee and, since 1995, the state party chairwoman of the SPÖ Upper Austria.

Hagenhofer had been a member of the National Council since October 14, 1993 and was in the XXIII. Legislative period holds a mandate for regional constituency 4B ( Innviertel ). In addition to membership in various committees, she is deputy chairman in the committee for human rights and deputy chairman in the standing subcommittee on matters of the European Union. On January 19, 2011, Marianne Hagenhofer resigned from the National Council.
