Marianne Jensen (born January 14, 1970 ) is a former Danish soccer player .

Career

Jensen played for Fortuna Hjørring until 1990 before moving to Hjortshøj-Egaa Idrætsforening , a club from Aarhus . On March 15, 1989 Jensen came in the 3-2 victory over Italy for their first appearance for the Danish national team . In 1991, the midfielder took part in the World Cup, where she came on two missions. Jensen played on February 24, 1995 in the 7-0 defeat by the United States - the national team's highest defeat to date - their 40th and last international match; In total, she scored five goals in the national dress, plus one game and one goal for Denmark's U-21 national team.
