Mariano Martín Donda (born March 24, 1982 in Buenos Aires ) is a former Argentine football player .

Career

Mariano Donda began his career in 2004 in his home country with CA Nueva Chicago in the Nacional B , the second highest division in Argentine football. After he only made a few appearances in his debut season, he was able to fight for a regular place in midfield in his second year. The 2006/07 season he played with the club in the Primera División , the highest Argentine league. At the end of the season, relegation to the Nacional B followed again after the team was defeated in the playout games against CA Tigre . In summer 2007 he left Argentina and transferred to Italy to AS Bari . After he played many games with the Galletti in the first two seasons and was able to move up to Serie A with the team in the 2008/09 season, he was no longer part of the team's regular squad in the 2009/10 season. In July 2010 his contract with AS Bari dissolved by mutual agreement. He then signed a contract with the Argentine first division club CD Godoy Cruz . He played there for a year before joining al-Wasl in the United Arab Emirates in mid-2011 .
