particularities

Each classroom has two computers. Two hours a week, the students are taught skills on the computer and certified with a “computer license”. Everyday school life is accompanied by learning gymnastics, the so-called brain gym, in which both halves of the brain are addressed. Since 2008 there is a school dog , a Labradoodle named Luna. Language courses for refugees have also been offered since 2015 .

On September 15, 2015, the Marie Curie Primary School was a stop for children's book author Stefan Gemmel in his attempt to set a world record “With 80 readings around the world - the fastest reading trip ever”.

For this concept, the Marie Curie School received a prize from the Play Makes School initiative .
