Marie Charlotte Siedentopf

Marie Charlotte Siedentopf , as Marie Charlotte Hahne , (born May 6, 1879 in Artern , † January 24, 1968 in Bad Oeynhausen ) was a German author who wrote numerous books and stories, especially for children and young people.

Her best-known works include Der Elfenraub (1900) and Die Brücke (1935). In 1901 she married Heinrich Friedrich Emil Siedentopf (1866–1937). The fairy tale book Der Elfenraub was published with Art Nouveau illustrations by Alexander Volbroth from 1911 and 1912. A reprint appeared in 1998.
