Marie Fleischer

Marie Kathrine Fleischer (born June 3, 1980 ) is a Greenlandic politician and entrepreneur .

Life

Marie Fleischer studied at the University of Greenland and Aalborg University . She was first elected to Inatsisartut in 2002. In 2005 she was re-elected. In 2007 she was elected local chairwoman of the Demokraatit in Nuuk . In May 2008 she resigned from the Demokraatit and became a non-attached MP. From then on she cooperated with the Inuit Ataqatigiit without being a party member. She only joined the party in December 2008.

In the 2009 parliamentary election , she did not run again. Instead, she became director of the Acquisition Council of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq . In 2013 she was hired as the municipal director for public services. In 2017 she was appointed director of the Mittarfeqarfiit airport company . In 2019 she resigned from the position.
