The Mariella Burani Fashion Group is an Italian group of companies for luxury fashion , with headquarters in Cavriago near Reggio nell'Emilia . It was founded in 1960 by Mariella and Walter Burani; today she runs her son Giovanni Burani. After strong growth through acquisitions, the group achieved sales of around EUR 700 million in 2008 and was one of the largest fashion companies in the country. Their brands include u. a. René Lezard .
