Marija Mykolaevna Ionowa ( Ukrainian Марія Миколаївна Іонова , born May 31, 1978 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian politician of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party .

biography

Marija Mykolaevna Ionova was born on May 31, 1978 in Kiev. In 1999, she graduated from the Wadym-Hetman National Economic University of Kiev and then worked as a manager at Apifarm UK Limited . In 2000 she graduated from the International Technical University of Kiev with a degree in foreign trade . From December 2001 she worked as the deputy director of the BM-2000 company in Kiev. From May 2005 she worked as an advisor to the President of Ukraine . From December 2005 to August 2006, she was a technical advisor to the Diplomatic Protocol Department of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine. From 2008 to 2012 she was a member of the Block Vitali Klitschko party (from which the UDAR later emerged) a member of the Kiev city council.

In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2012 , Ionova was in 16th place in the UDAR party list and was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada , where she was appointed chairman of the parliamentary committee for international cooperation. In early February 2013, Ionova took part in an opposition action that blocked the grandstand and the presidium of the Ukrainian parliament.

On January 16, 2014, Ionova had to be hospitalized because of a physical assault by MP Volodymyr Malyshev of the Party of Regions . In the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2014 , Ionova was ranked 23rd in the Petro Poroshenko party .

Ionowa is married and has one daughter.
