Marijn Sterk (born July 11, 1987 in The Hague , Netherlands ) is a Dutch football player who is currently under contract with FC Volendam . Sterk is one of the many professionals that Ajax Amsterdam Football School produced .
Career
Sterk started playing football at VCS Den Haag . Since the C-youth Sterk played at Ajax Amsterdam , where he went through all other youth teams up to the second team. However, he was never appointed to Ajax's professional squad. For the 2008/09 season he moved to first division promoted FC Volendam , where he made his professional debut on September 27, 2008 in the game against PSV Eindhoven (final score: 0: 1) . However, Sterk could not really prevail and was only used nine times.
