Marina Berg is a Swedish diplomat .

Career

She studied economics at Lund University from 1989 to 1992. This was followed by a master’s degree at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna from 1992 to 1993.

Berg worked in the Swedish Foreign Ministry in the Department for the European Union and the Department for African Affairs. Most recently, she was Director and Deputy Head of the Development and Cooperation Department before becoming the Swedish Ambassador for Indonesia in Jakarta in 2018 . The second accreditation for ASEAN was given by Berg on March 5, 2019 and for East Timor on February 21, 2020 by East Timor’s President Francisco Guterres .
