Daniel Hallgrimson

Daniel Hallgrimson (born October 4, 1972 in Seattle ) is an American - German musician and former basketball player .

career

Hallgrimson, son of basketball coach Paul Hallgrimson and brother of Markus Hallgrimson , moved to Germany with his family in 1978. At the age of 13, he returned to the United States. From 1992 the 1.78-meter-tall superstructure player belonged to the men's team of TV Langen in the 2nd basketball division . In 1994 Hallgrimson received German citizenship. In 1995 he moved to BG Ludwigsburg in the basketball league , then he was also in the top German division in the service of SG Braunschweig . After tearing his Achilles tendon, he withdrew from competitive sports, but returned to TV Langen in the 1999/2000 season and thus to the 2nd Bundesliga.

Hallgrimson was already active as a studio singer during his career as a basketball player. Under his stage name Daniel Hall he recorded the song We love to entertain you for ProSieben , which was used by the television station as a recognition melody. Hallgrimson was a member of the group Fresh Milk Live and appeared intermittently in the opening act for Britney Spears . He also worked with George Michael .

In 2007 he founded a company in Düsseldorf that offers services and consulting activities in the music and event sector.
