The Marina Flaesheim in the Haltern district of Flaesheim ( Westphalia ) is a yacht harbor on the Wesel-Datteln Canal .

The marina is located in a branch of the canal that leads to a quarry pond with sand extraction. In addition to the 70 long-term berths, there are 15 berths for guests; boats 8 to 15 meters in length are allowed.

The marina does not have its own use of boats. There is a slipway about two kilometers away at the Flaesheim lock , a ten-ton crane behind the Ahsen lock ten kilometers away on the Dattelner Meer . The marina offers typical service (waste disposal and fecal suction, electricity and water connections, washing machine and dryer), supply (kiosk, bistro, lakeside terrace) and sanitary facilities (shower, toilet).

The Haard , part of the Hohe Mark-Westmünsterland Nature Park, begins south of the marina . To the north are the meadows of the meandering Lippe , behind them the Westruper Heide . There is a campsite next to the marina and together they form the Flaesheim leisure park . A 4,000 square meter area of the quarry pond with the sandy beach and a swimmer area can be used as an outdoor pool, the rest of the lake is closed to swimmers and boats due to the still active sand extraction. Leisure options also include cycling, fishing and a playground.
