Marine Telecommunications Command

The naval telecommunication command was a specialized command of the Federal Navy that was responsible for all matters relating to telecommunications and location. Schools and test centers of the telecommunications and location service were subordinate to him.

history

The naval telecommunications command was set up on June 1, 1956 in Wilhelmshaven and was under the command of naval training . In the course of a reorganization of the Navy, it was assigned to the newly established Central Navy Command from February 1, 1962 and renamed the Command of the Navy Command Service . In a further reclassification, it was incorporated into the newly established Naval Office on October 1, 1965 as an inspection of the naval command service .

All inspections, including the inspection of the naval command service, were dissolved and their tasks were divided between the naval training and naval armaments departments.
