Mario Cecon is a former Italian ski jumper .

Career

Cecon won the silver medal at the Italian championships for the first time in 1965, behind Nilo Zandanel . In 1966 he won the Italian championship for the first time in front of Nilo Zandanel and Bruno De Zordo . In 1968 he won silver behind Ezio Damolin . At the Four Hills Tournament 1968/69 he achieved his best tour result with 40th place in the overall ranking. In 1969 he won silver again at the Italian championships behind Albino Bazzana . In 1970 it was only enough for bronze after Giacomo Aimoni and Albino Bazzana. In 1971 he found his way back to his old strength and won gold three times in a row at the Italian championships by 1973.
