Mario Cisneros (born January 21, 1961 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

For the first time at the age of 23 Cisneros came in the dress of his "home club" Atlante in a home game played on November 4, 1984 against Club Atlas (0: 2) in a meeting of the Mexican Primera División . In the same season 1984/85 he managed for Atlante in the home game against Tampico-Madero FC his first goal in the top division of Mexico to the 3-1 final score in the 82nd minute.

After three years at Atlante, Cisneros moved to the Ángeles de Puebla for the 1987/88 season , for which he was used in 30 of 38 point games and played 29 encounters over the full distance of 90 minutes. After the Ángeles had sold their first division license to Club Santos Laguna at the end of the season, Cisneros moved in the summer of 1988 to the promoted Cobras Ciudad Juárez , to whom he belonged until 1992 during their four-year first division membership.
