The K League Classic 2015 was the third season of the highest South Korean soccer league under this name and the 33rd season in total since its official introduction in 1983. The regular season began on March 7th and ended on October 4th, 2015. The championship and relegation rounds then took place in October and November 2015. The defending champion was Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors .

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors was able to defend its title from the previous season and was champion for the fourth time. Together with Suwon Samsung Bluewings and FC Seoul (as cup winners ) they qualified for the 2016 AFC Champions League . The Pohang Steelers started as a league third in qualifying for the Champions League .

The newcomer Daejeon Citizen had to relegate directly to the K League Challenge . The two relegation games between the Busan IPark and the play-off winner of the K League Challenge 2015 , Suwon FC , took place on December 2nd and 5th, 2015. The second division club secured promotion.
