The Korean FA Cup in 2015 was the 20th anniversary of football - cup competition for South Korean club teams . A total of 79 teams took part this season. Defending champions Seongnam FC were eliminated by Ulsan Hyundai in the quarter-finals .
The cup tournament began on March 28, 2015 with the first qualifying round and ended on October 31, 2015 with the final at the Seoul World Cup Stadium . There, FC Seoul won their second cup title with a 3-1 win over Incheon United . He qualified for the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2016 .
