The Korean FA Cup in 2017 was the 22nd edition of the football - cup competition for South Korean club teams have been. A total of 83 teams took part in the season. The defending champions were the Suwon Samsung Bluewings .

The cup tournament started on March 11, 2017 with the first round. The winner of the cup qualified for the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2018 .
