Buyeo FC was a football franchise from Buyeo , South Korea . The club last played in the K3 League Basic , the fifth highest division in South Korea.
history
First season (2016)
The club was founded in 2015. Since the K3 League season was already running, the club only joined the K3 League in 2016 and played there. Kang Jeong-hun was hired as a coach. In terms of sport, things did not go well in the club's first season. The club was only 16th and had to relegate to the newly founded K3 League Basic . In the first round of the cup they played against the amateur team from Samsung Electronics and won there 6: 3. In the second round, however, they had to admit defeat to U-League member University of Incheon 0: 1.
Fifth class (2017-2018)
For the new season, Yun Seok-ki was hired by the club as the successor coach. In the new season, the club achieved 4th place and thus qualified for the play-off games. In the play-off games they met Pyeongtaek Citizen FC . The game was lost 3-0. In the cup, the club was eliminated in the first round against Gwangju Honam University with 0: 1. In the 2018 season, the club was unable to build on the previous season's performance. They finished the season on a disappointing 7th place. But things went better in the cup. In the first round of the cup they met the amateur team from SL Lighting , which they could defeat with 5: 1. In the following round they met league rivals Paju Citizen FC . The game was lost, however, 3-0. After the end of the 2018 season, the club announced that it would not field a team for the 2019 season and left the K3 League . Shortly thereafter, the association disbanded.
