Yongin Citizen FC was a soccer franchise based in Yongin , South Korea . The club last played in the K3 League , the fourth-highest division in South Korea.

The club was founded in 2007. The club's first coach was Park Seon-geun.
K3 League Years (2007-2010)
Your inaugural season went very well. In the first half of the season they were able to reach 2nd place and thus qualified for the championship games. The second half of the season they finished in 3rd place. In the championship games, they then competed in the semifinals against Hwaseong Shinwoo Electronics FC . The game was lost 0-1. For the following season, the club gave the goal of the league championship. They finished the first half of the season in third place, but they were able to win the second half of the season by two points and thus qualify again for the championship games. In the semi-finals they received Yangju Citizen FC this time . The game ended 3: 3 in extra time. The subsequent penalty shootout, the club lost 4-5 against the eventual league champions. In the Korean FA Cup , the club was eliminated surprisingly early. In the first round, the club faced league rivals Cheonan FC , which they surprisingly lost 2-0. In 2009 the club wanted to achieve the championship as a goal again. In the end they finished the season on a good 3rd place. In the Korean FA Cup, the club did not get past the first round again. They lost 1-0 against Seoul United FC . The 2010 season was their worst season since the club was founded. The club finished the season on a bad 6th place and thus missed the championship games significantly. In the cup, the club did not make it past the first round for the third time in a row. The club lost this time to Sungkyunkwan University 1: 2.
After the end of the season, the city administration announced that it wanted to found a new club in the league higher Korea National League . For this purpose, the club was dissolved and re-established in the National League as Yongin City FC . The squad and coaching staff were taken over by the new club for this purpose.
