Clara Viebig

Clara Viebig was one of the most widely read authors of her time. Your works will be reprinted by the Rhein-Mosel-Verlag.

On July 31, 1992, the Clara Viebig Society was founded in Bad Bertrich in honor of Clara Viebig. The goals of the society are to preserve the literary legacy of the poet, to research the works and backgrounds, to make her works accessible to the public again.

The society is supported by many members at home and abroad. The members support the voluntary work by actively helping to acquire and research the works of Clara Viebig.

Readings and lectures are held regularly by the society. Members also receive »Articles and Materials«, edited by the Society, which contain unknown publications by Clara Viebig.

The publisher Arne Houben is the president of the Clara Viebig Society.

Pacemaker Edition

Launched in 2004, the "Edition Pacemaker" has developed into a sizable, small library of good literature in Rhineland-Palatinate. It forms a treasure trove for those interested in literature and, as a collection, reflects the current literary scene. In the meantime, a volume is published every year in the Pacemaker Edition and financed by the Rhein-Mosel-Verlag as a contribution to the promotion of literature.
