Günter Krieger
Günter Krieger (born January 29, 1965 in Langerwehe ) is a German writer who mainly writes historical novels.
Life
After graduating from commercial college , Krieger trained as a nurse in 1988 . He has been a freelance writer since 1999. He first became known through his Merode trilogy . Many of his novels are set in the Eifel or in the Rhineland . He often makes sagas and legends the basis of his works and embeds them in a medieval panorama.
Krieger lives with his wife in Langerwehe in the Düren district .
