The franchise was founded in 1998 and has played in the Korea National League since the 2003 season . Before that, from 1999 to 2002 it only participated in the cup.
Since their first season, they have always been in the upper part of the table in almost all seasons. They won the title for the first time in 2007. In 2008 they were able to defend the title. It wasn't until 2011 that the title could be won again. In 2013 they won the league again. In 2014 they were able to defend their title. They were able to defend the title again in 2015.
