The UAE Arabian Gulf League 2014/15 is the second season of the top football league from the United Arab Emirates under this name and the 40th season since its official introduction in 1973. The season began on September 15, 2014 and ends on September 10. May 2015. Between December 22nd, 2014 and February 4th, 2015 it was interrupted by a winter break. The defending champions are al-Ahli Dubai .
The best team of the season qualifies directly for the AFC Champions League 2016 , the second and third placed start in the qualification for the Champions League . In addition, the UAE President's Cup winner takes part in the Champions League. The two worst teams of the season are relegated to the First Division League.
