Edgar Bruno da Silva (born January 3, 1987 in São Carlos ) is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
society
Edgar started his career at Paulistinha, from where he moved to the first team at Juniorville EC in 2005. At the beginning of the 2006/07 season he moved to São Paulo on loan . He was a member of the 2006 season championship squad with three appearances. In January 2007 he moved to Portugal and signed with SC Beira-Mar . There he rose with the club promptly from the top Portuguese league, but he was able to draw attention to himself through good performances, so that the champions of the 2006/07 season signed FC Porto Edgar. In the autumn he was used twice for Porto before he was awarded to Académica Coimbra in January . Coimbra came in twelfth place.
At the beginning of the 2008/09 season he was awarded to the FK Red Star Belgrade in Serbia . With the Serbs, he made his debut at European club level. In the UEFA Cup qualifying game against the representative from Cyprus APOEL Nicosia on August 14, 2008, Edgar played through and scored the goal for a 1-0 lead. The game in Nicosia ended 2-2. After a total of eight league games and two European Cup games, he turned his back on Red Star and moved back home to CR Vasco da Gama for half a year . There he was not happy either and returned to Europe for the 2009/10 season and joined Nacional Funchal . In his first season with the Madeira team , he scored twelve goals in 24 games. He also scored a goal in the Europa League . In the championship he reached 7th place with the club. Edgar has been playing for Vitória Guimarães since the 2010/11 season .
From the summer of 2014 he continued his career in the United Arab Emirates and played successively for the clubs al Shabab and al-Wasl .
In the summer transfer period of 2016 he was signed by the Turkish first division club Adanaspor . After a season he left this club and moved on to al-Duhail SC .
