Makhete Diop , (born July 8, 1988 in Louga ) is a Senegalese football player .
Career
Diop's career began in the youth of ASC Port Autonome . His first league appearances were at ASC Yakaar . After his debut season he moved abroad to al-Watani , at that time a club of the Saudi Professional League . He then joined the Lebanese first division club Nejmeh Club . He became the top scorer straight away.
In August he moved to al-Karama in Syria . In 2011 he signed with al-Dhafra in the United Arab Emirates . Here he stayed for more than five seasons and became one of the top strikers in the UAE Arabian Gulf League . During the winter transfer window 2016/17 Diop moved to league rivals al-Ahli Dubai . He signed for three and a half years.
