The Gwangyang Football Stadium ( kor. 광양 축구 전용 구장 ) is a football stadium in the South Korean city of Gwangyang , Jeollanam-do Province . It is used for soccer games and is the home stadium of the Jeonnam Dragons . The stadium offers 14,284 seats, was built from January 1992 to 1993 and inaugurated on March 4th of that year. From 1993 to 1994 the POSCO Atoms played there. The Jeonnam Dragons have played their home games here since 1995.
In 2007, the venue was one of eight stadiums for the U-17 World Cup .
