The Suwon Stadium ( kor.  수원 종합 운동장 ) is a football stadium in the South Korean city ​​of Suwon , Gyeonggi-do Province . It is the center of the Suwon Sport Complex ( Kor.  수원 종합 운동장 ). This also includes the Suwon baseball stadium with approx. 20,000 seats and the multi-purpose hall Suwon-Arena , which can accommodate around 5,000 spectators. The football stadium was used by various clubs. From 1987 to 1990, the Yukong Elephants franchise competed in the stadium. Then from 1996 to 2002 the franchise Suwon Samsung Bluewings played in the sports facility. Since 2003 the franchise Suwon FC and since 2009 the women's football franchise Suwon FMC WFC have played their home games at Suwon Stadium. Suwon FC currently (2016) plays in the K League Classic , the top division in South Korea.

The soccer stadium was one of eight stadiums for the 2007 U-17 soccer world championship in South Korea.
